The Smear Vinyl Boat Decals add a long, flowing streak design to the sides of boats and other smooth marine surfaces. The layered points and stretched lines create the appearance of colour being pulled backward across the hull, giving the boat a faster, more customized look without covering the entire side.
Each order includes a set of two mirrored vinyl decals, allowing the design to face the correct direction on the port and starboard sides of the boat. Choose from seven colours and sizes ranging from 2 feet to 10 feet. Custom sizes are also available upon request.
The Smear design combines sweeping streaks, sharp tapered points and open spaces between the coloured sections. This gives it a lighter, more layered appearance than a solid stripe while still creating a noticeable side graphic.
Its long horizontal shape works especially well along open sections of a boat hull, where the design can follow the natural length of the boat without looking like a full wrap.

Smear boat decals are available in lengths from 2 feet to 10 feet. The selected size represents the approximate length of each individual decal, not the combined length of the mirrored pair.
Before ordering, measure the smooth, straight section of the hull where the decal will be installed. Leave enough clearance around registration numbers, handles, seams, vents and other hardware. Longer sizes create a more prominent side graphic, while shorter sizes work well as accents near the bow or rear section of the boat.
Custom sizes are available upon request if one of the listed sizes does not fit your available installation area.
These graphics are printed using eco-solvent inks on premium ORAJET 3551GRA vinyl. The vinyl is protected with ORAGUARD 290 gloss laminate, helping protect the printed colour from sunlight, moisture and normal outdoor exposure.
The installation mask helps keep the complete design aligned while it is positioned and applied, as demonstrated in our installation guide.
Install these decals only on a clean, smooth and fully dry surface above the waterline. Remove wax, grease, silicone and other surface contaminants before installation, as these can prevent the adhesive from bonding correctly.
After installation, allow the decals to bond for at least 48 hours before launching the boat or exposing them to prolonged water. These decals are not designed for permanent underwater or below-waterline installation.
