Diamond Plate Strike is a set of two mirrored vinyl side decals for cars and trucks, available in 2- to 8-foot lengths and six printed colors: black, red, green, silver, gold and purple. The long, angular graphic combines sharp blade-like sections with a detailed diamond-plate pattern for placement along vehicle doors, lower body panels, pickup cabs or bedsides.
Each decal is precision contour-cut around the separated Strike shape, printed on premium ORAJET 3551GRA vehicle vinyl and protected with ORAGUARD 290 gloss laminate. The metallic diamond-plate appearance is a printed visual effect. The finished decals have a smooth surface and are not raised metal, reflective safety material or mirror-chrome vinyl.
Unlike a solid rectangular diamond-plate stripe, Diamond Plate Strike breaks the pattern into sweeping points, narrow slashes and separated sections. Portions of the vehicle’s original paint remain visible between the shapes, giving the graphic a lighter and more dimensional appearance than a full rocker-panel wrap.
The longest points create a strong sense of forward movement, while the smaller sections add detail around the main graphic. Its wide, low-profile proportions make it especially suitable for long vehicle panels where a traditional square or compact decal may look undersized.
Choose from black, red, green, silver, gold or purple. Every color retains the diamond-plate pattern, printed highlights, shaded edges and angular Strike shape.
Color appearance and contrast will vary depending on the vehicle’s paint. Consider both the decal color and the amount of contrast you want before ordering.
Diamond Plate Strike is available in lengths from 2 feet to 8 feet. The selected measurement is the approximate length of each individual decal, not the combined length of the mirrored pair.
Measure the straight, usable installation area on your vehicle before selecting a size. Smaller versions can be used as door, quarter-panel or bedside accents. Longer versions are better suited to extended door areas, pickup-truck cabs and bedsides.

Avoid running the narrow points across rubber trim, textured plastic, door handles or severely curved panel edges.
Each decal is printed with eco-solvent inks on ORAJET 3551GRA, a premium vehicle-graphic vinyl with grey repositionable adhesive and RapidAir technology. The air-release adhesive channels help reduce trapped air during installation.
The printed surface is protected with ORAGUARD 290 gloss laminate. This clear cast laminate adds protection from UV exposure, moisture and everyday surface abrasion while preserving the printed color and fine diamond-plate detail.
The installation mask holds the long points and separated sections in their intended positions while the complete design is transferred to the vehicle. Dry-position the decal with masking tape before removing the backing, and apply it to a clean, dry surface above 50°F or 13°C. Having a second person assist is recommended for longer sizes.
