Sizing tip: choosing the right length

On most full-size trucks and larger SUVs, an 8–10 ft main tear fills the doors and rear quarter nicely, while the shorter pieces finish off the fender and rocker areas. Coupes and sedans usually look best in the 5–7 ft range. Measure the straight-line distance you want to cover and select the next size up so the carbon fiber rips have room to taper off cleanly at each end.
